Inspires, encourages, has integrity, empathy, and loyalty are just a few adjectives that describe great leaders, and Ronaldo Hardy has all of these and more. When I started working with Ronaldo, I was a frontline teller and he saw potential in me that I didn’t even recognize in myself. He developed me from a teller to an operations manager, and then to chief operations officer. His leadership style fosters growth, in not only your career but all aspects of life. He encouraged me to; become a Louisiana Notary, finish my bachelor’s degree, and become a strategic thinker who could perform on an executive level.

My first real leadership role was on a management team that Ronaldo led. For four and a half years, he consistently modeled important qualities of leadership such as good stewardship, fairness, how to navigate crises and sound strategic planning. He empowered me to make decisions and gave me space to learn from my mistakes. The most meaningful thing he taught me was also the most difficult to exercise because it takes many soft skills to achieve it. That one thing was and I quote, “Leaders walk in authority. They don’t announce it.”
